ProfitBid exists for one moment: a contractor finishes good work, checks the account, and asks “where did the profit go?” The answer is almost never the work. It is the math — markup confused with margin, labor priced at the wage instead of its true cost, and extras that were never written down.
Why we built it
On contractor forums the same stories repeat: “I finished the job and made $8/hour after everything.” “I have no idea if I'm actually making money.” “My estimator bid a job at 12% margin — I only found out when we invoiced.” Meanwhile the tools meant to help grew into $59–$300/month platforms with scheduling, CRM and dispatch that a two-person remodel crew never asked for.
ProfitBid is the opposite: five small tools that each fix one leak, free, in the browser, with no account. Your job numbers — the most sensitive map of your business — never leave your device.
